Not sure where to start when it comes to reading the Bible? 

The YouVersion Bible App has amazing resources! Reading plans about getting to know Jesus, learning to pray, etc.! This will help you learn as you go.

The Bible is split into 2 parts, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament talks about important Biblical events that come before the birth of Jesus. i.e. the story of Moses parting the Red Sea, Noah and the Ark, etc. The New Testament is all about the life and second coming of Jesus. Stories like the birth of Jesus, Jesus death and resurrection, etc.!

For a new believer, we suggest starting in Matthew (the first book of the New Testament) and reading Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John - the 4 "Gospel" books. 

Another great starting point is Romans. 

Every part of the Bible is the living, breathing, Word of God. So it is all good reading! But we suggest these because they are easier to read with little context and allow you to get to know Jesus before anything else.
